  • Performed data mining, data manipulation, analysis, and design of large environmental datasets within ArcMap, Microsoft Excel, RStudio, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Landsvirkjun Power Company (Mývatn, Iceland)                                
Geothermal Research Assistant (Summer Internship):

Krafla Power Station is one of Iceland’s largest geothermal power plants, owned by Landsvirkjun, Iceland’s largest producer of electricity. (http://www.landsvirkjun.com)

  • Produced maps for the plant using GIS software that were used to analyze the plant’s environmental impact.
     

  • Collected daily samples of geothermal fluid and trained arriving scientists in our sampling methodology.
     

  • Set up sampling equipment, managed field supplies, and performed chemical analyses in the lab.
